Mark Flood (b. 1957, Houston, Texas) is an artist living and working in Houston. He attended Rice University and graduated in 1981. Recent exhibitions include Mark Flood: Gratest Hits at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (2016); Paintings From The War For Social Justice at Ever Gold [Projects] (San Francisco, 2016); The Future is Ow at Marlborough Gallery (New York, 2016); American Buffet Upgrade at Stuart Shave/Modern Art (London, 2015); ASTROTURF YELP REVIEW SAYS YES at Peres Projects (Berlin, 2015); and Mark Flood at the Rubell Family Collection (Miami, 2015). His work has been reviewed and featured in many publications including Artforum, Art in America, Frieze Magazine, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Flood’s work is in the collections of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Menil Collection, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Birmingham Art Museum.
